To those of you that are playing Guardians of Middle-earth on the EU PSN, we’ve got some news just for you.

With your support, we’ve been hard at work on Guardians of Middle-earth ever since it first launched back in December. And, as a way of thanking all of you for your multitudes of valuable feedback, and as a welcome back to those that are checking out Guardians of Middle-earth in the wake of these latest updates, we wanted to host a Welcome Back Weekend!

You’ve faced off against us once before, and some of the most epic battles Middle-earth has ever seen were had. And now, after many weeks of plotting, scheming, and finishing up Survival Mode, we’re back and ready for more!

PlayStation Guardians, your time to slay us has arrived once more!

While the traditional top, bottom, and middle-lane action brought to you by the 3 lane map sets the stage for elegant warfare, it’s time to get gritty in the 1 lane map!

A couple weeks ago, we gave Xbox LIVE Arcade players a chance to play with and against our development team - it’s now time for the PlayStation Network gamers to have a chance to compete directly against the devs.

Today, from 3PM to 4PM Pacific, we’re going to be streaming live, on our Twitch.tv channel! Join in, chat with us, send us your best questions through the chat channel or on Twitter, and let us know which Guardian you want us to play.

At Monolith, we look forward to the excitement that PAX Prime brings to Seattle every year. This year was no different.

This weekend, we’ll be attending PAX Prime 2012 in Seattle, WA and hosting extensive hands-on time for PAX attendees. But, since you cannot all be at PAX, we’ll be streaming live gameplay during the tournaments on Twitch.tv.

Gamescom 2012 has come and gone. The weeklong extravaganza that celebrates all things gaming over in Köln, Germany was a grueling week, but every single second of breaking down our insoles was worth it, because we got to bring Guardians to all of our fans across the pond.

The development of Guardians of Middle-earth was far from a conventional process. While we’ve got a team of seasoned vets, we realized that we needed some additional expertise to help us get it absolutely right.

This past week was a whirlwind of excitement, enthusiasm, and exhaustion for all of us here at Monolith Productions. E3 proved to be as great of a time as we’d predicted it would be, and that simply wouldn’t have been the case without every single one of you.

Guardians of Middle-earth will be at E3! Watch as players face off on a huge raised platform while seasoned competitive gaming commentators call the shots in real time on the big screen. If you’re there, you’ll have a chance to hop onto one of the console stations and go toe-to-toe against a team of five real players, just like you’ll be able to at home.
